Revisiting Two Lover’s Point

A promise of forever

When I first came to Guam I was able to do the traditional “round the island” joy ride. The very first stop we had before was Two Lover’s Point. After five years I find myself again in Two Lover’s Point but now with a better camera. I also first tested my Sigma Telephoto Lens. Check out some pictures below :

Fourth of July at Fujita Beach and more

My co-workers out of the blue suddenly decided to take advantage of the holiday on July 4th that fell on hump day.

And for the first time according to the senior employees, this will be the very first time we are having a beach office party.

With my camera and my new tripod, I decided just to be the photographer and not swim… yes the waters at Fujita beach was clear and calm, it was high tide in the early hours but suddenly after 8:00 am it was low tide, and we were lucky to get a good spot thanks to kuya Carlos for being there at 5:45 am.

Without further delay here are some of my snapshots.

Note: Its so nice to view this images at a big computer screen.

What is the color of clouds at night?

Been trying night photography and to tell you the truth I really don’t know how it should be. I ordered a tripod to have my camera in “still mode” to prevent shakes and blurs associated with dim or night photography.

Enjoy!

Mural Project And Some Photos Aside

Have been planning this project.

Taking a photo of the three wall murals I see every weekend. These murals along Lower Tumon here in Guam are a reflection of Guam’s culture.  I prayed for a sunny day and this morning it was indeed sunny but with some drizzle here and there, well that is how Guam is at times it rains on the other side of the road while its sunny on the other side.

Hope you like my photos.

This mural is right across Guam Visitor’s Bureau.

Mural Photography at Lower Tumon, Guam

You already noticed that most of my photographs are taken at Lower Tumon Guam. The reason is that it is the nearest place I go for a quick photo shoot. So check and enjoy some of my shots.

The last one is at the road going to Kmart. This is an epic fail shoot because it started to rain but I was still able to get at least one below.

Model: Fire tree and other trees

After many postponement I finally have the time to photograph the fire trees in Lower Tumon and even able to get other photos of other subjects.

A cloud in the early morning shape like Africa

A fire tree in its full bloom

A view of the fire tree at 6:00 am at Reef Hotel

Aside from the fire tree this shrub with yellow flowers caught my eye

in its beautiful bloom

I had a hard time getting a clear shot at the fire tree in Hyatt. Any advice on how to reduce noise or how to shoot at a bright sun at my back?

Fire Tree at Lower Tumon

Have been planning to photograph the fire trees in Lower Tumon and the ones that are in bloom are in The Reef Hotel and Hyatt.
Fire Tree in Reef Hotel

The one in Hyatt which I took pictures after eating breakfast at Burker King right across Tumon Sands.

The images I took in Hyatt is a bit blurry. I guess the bright sun cause it or I am not just good yet at adjusting the settings for landscape settings.

In between shooting the fire trees I got some other pictures enjoy!

I am still shy in taking pictures of passing people. Probably that would be my next project. It would be nice if I can catch the emotion of those walking or jogging in Lower Tumon, Guam.

Experimental Urban Photography

Was able to have a chance to try Urban photography.

Woke up early to get images of the early and the morning stuff of my area but it kinda ended into a blue sky and street photography.
Hope you get to check my images, would like to hear your comments and suggestions.

Late afternoon cloud photography

Was on my way home about a couple of days ago when this huge cloud was calling my attention asking me to take a picture… and it was a good chance for me to use effects in my photography.

Enjoy!!!
